how mild it may seem.

Thrombosis

Recent operation

Conditions requiring surgery
Localised conditions
Reflexology can be given but not
over any areas affected by:

Undiagnosed
lumps or bumps

Bruising
-
Cuts
-
Abrasions
Medical Conditions
If you suffer from any of the
following conditions, Reflexology
can only take place once it has
been approved before your treatment
in writing by your G.P:

Any
condition already being treated
by a medical practitioner

Oedema
-
High
and low blood pressure
-
Osteoporosis
-
Nervous
or psychotic conditions
-
Epilepsy
-
Diabetes
-
Inflammation,
including arthritis
-
Taking of strong medication in
particular doses.
Conditions requiring specialised
treatment

Pregnancy:
As pregnancy can lead to a variety
of contra-indications, we think
it is advisable that pregnant
clients should seek treatment
from a therapist who specialises
in providing Reflexology to pregnant
clients.

Cancer:
Reflexology with cancer patients
is carried out under medical supervision,
and with this in mind we advise
that clients should receive treatment
from a Reflexologist who specialises
in this field.
