Reiki Treatment
FAQs
Q1. How Does Reiki Work?
A1. First consider our bodies like
forms of energy and light. The way
we interact with our environment
and with others, as well as our
actions and thoughts, all determine
the harmonious function of our bodies.
All of these factors determine whether
our experience is of health and
balance or ill health and stress.
Through negative actions, thoughts
or 'Karma' this vibration rate becomes
out of balance. When this happens
the result is illness. Reiki works
by re-attuning the bodies own vibrational
rate to that of a healthy and harmonious
vibration. when Reiki energy is
administered, through a qualified
practitioner, the practitioner simply
acts as a channel for the healing
energy to transfer through himself/herself
to the recipient.
Q2. Is Reiki Safe?
A2. Yes. Only good can
come from Reiki. Reiki is one of
the most safest healing methods
available. Reiki works in unison
with the bodies own ability to heal
itself. Most practitioners place
their hands on different parts of
the body but even this is not totally
necessary. The hands could be placed
above the area being treated specially
if a particular area is sensitive.
It is not determined by the practitioner
or by you which areas of the body
reiki should treat, Reiki will go
to where it is needed most. Most
practitioners ask Reiki to flow
for the highest and greatest good
of the recipient. This takes the
ego out of the equation.
Q3. Do I Have To Be Ill
To Receive Reiki?
A3. No. Reiki is not just
for the ill. Reiki promotes well
being for the whole body, emotions
and mind. Reiki works on the basis
of preventative medicines.
Q4. What Does One Experience
During a Treatment.
A4. As you would expect,
experiences differ from one person
to the next. These are some of the
most common experiences people report.
Visual Perception:
Seeing or perceiving colours, visual
imagery such as shapes, symbols,
swirling patterns and other imaginary
images.
Auditory Perception: You
may experience a heightened increase
in sound, if your sensitive. Sounds
may appear louder and you may hear
the sound of your own heart beating
or the flow of blood throughout
the body. You may also hear "inner
ear" phenomena, such as the
sound of the energy flowing through
the body. In other cases you may
receive guidance in the form of
messages, words or ideas, springing
to mind, such as inspiration or
creative solutions to problems.
Kinaesthetic Perception:
One of the most common
experiences noticed by those who
receive Reiki. This includes the
sensation of energy flowing through
the practitioners hands. The feeling
of warmth or heat and sometimes
a cool or a cold stream of energy
as well. Recipients may experience
tingling, pulsating or twitchy feelings
throughout the body. Other sensations
may include a heightened awareness
of different parts of the body.
Olfactory Perception:
Perhaps one of the less common experiences,
describes the sense of smell. You
may find your sense of smell is
more sensitive the usual during
or after a Reiki treatment.
Q5. Do I Need To Remove
Any Clothes Before a Treatment.
A5. Under no circumstances should
either the practitioner or recipient
remove clothing. Reiki energy has
a direct ability to penetrate through
clothing and even plaster casts
in the event of a broken bone. Shoes
may be removed as the practitioner
will require to treat the feet as
part of the treatment.
Q5. How Much Do You Charge
For Reiki Treatment?
A5. This depends on how many sessions
of Reiki treatment you would like.
Each session is approximately between
1 hour to 1.5 hours. For more information

list.

Training FAQs
Q1. Do I Gain Any Qualifications
From Learning Reiki?
A1. Once you have attended
a class or workshop you are issued
a certificate. The certificate states
the person has received the attunements
and instructions for the particular
level / degree. Usually what follows,
your Reiki master may assign you
practice hours and assignments.
Provided the student has completed
the necessary requirements they
are then given a completion certificate
which is part of the larger accredition
process. A student is often required
to complete a number of logged treatments
or clinical practices before they
are issued with a certificate.
Q2.
What Is a Reiki Attunement?
A2. The actual Reiki attunement
is a small ceremony, which creates
the alignment, giving the recipient
/ student the ability to channel
Reiki. The Reiki attunements are
the energy alignments a master of
Reiki gives to a student. Each attunement
activates an ability to use Reiki
for oneself and others almost immediately.
A good analogy of what an attunement
is would be to imagine Reiki energy
as a radio signal and our bodies
as the radio and radio antenna.
When a Reiki master moves our antenna,
by means of an attunement, We effectively
pick up the station 'Reiki', any
previous static that was found on
your station is removed and a clear
reception found. The end result,
the ability to channel Reiki energy.
Q3. Do I Have To Believe
In Reiki?
A3. Another amazing thing about
the Reiki system is you need not
believe in Reiki for it to work.
Thus ruling out the placebo effect,
the Reiki healing ability can be
successfully administered to anyone.
Q4.
Can I Heal Myself With Reiki?
Q4.
Absolutely, as soon as you have
had your first degree training you
will have the ability to treat yourself
and others. It is strongly advised
and encouraged you treat yourself
for a cleansing cycle of 21 days
before treating anyone else. This
is used to detoxify yourself before
thinking about treating others.
The general law on healing is Healer,
Heal Thy Self meaning heal
yourself before treating others.
This will prevent accidentally transmitting
any of your negative energy to the
recipient.
Q5. How Much Do You Charge For Reiki

you are already at. For more information
